DRAMATIC BEGINNINGS
Ages 6-12
Seating is limited (Send a registration form to participate)
Final class will be a free performance for family and friends
This program is designed to bring the elements of theater to your child's life and open up doors socially, dramatically, and theatrically. Your child will learn to work in collaboration with other children on different beginner techniques for the theater: public speaking, group work, improv, skits and mini-monologues, puppeteering, and gestures and movements, to name a few, and will end with a performance for family and friends. Your child will enjoy many hands-on activities with other children his/her age and develop skills that will help him/her later in life, whether your child becomes a thespian or simply learns to appreciate the theater and the talent, skill, and hard work it takes to achieve any task or challenge. We invite you to join us and let the laughter begin.
**All materials and supplies for this course are included in the cost. In the case of a cancellation, you will be contacted prior to the class meeting and a make-up session will be offered.
